ABOUT
This workshop is for all levels and experience. Students will learn one of the
Yang Style 8 Forms from beginning to end. This 8 Form incorporates 8 foundational movements
from the traditional 108 Long Form. Yang style is the most widely practiced form of Tai Chi
in the world today. It was developed by Chinese martial artist, Yang Lu Chan, in the 1800's.
Though Tai Chi has its roots in combat and self-defense, it is now practiced
for its many health benefits.
ON THE DAY
This workshop will begin with a Qigong to warmup the muscles, followed by step-by-step instruction
in the Yang Style 8 Form. We will finish with a guided meditation and herbal tea & healthy snacks.

WHAT TO WEAR
Wear clothing that is comfortable to move in.
For shoes, you can wear trainers, socks, or go barefooted.
